The Mayan Prophecies Of 2012 – Recalculated!
Most of us know what the Mayans prediction is about, and what`s according to them is bound to happen in 2012.
The ancient Mayans, based on star charting, prophesied that December 21, 2012 would be the end of the world or at least some form of universal catastrophe. Meso American star charting started around 680 B.C. by the Olmec civilization who were recording astrological patterns in the sky and eventually shared this information with the Mayans. The Mayans had a long history of tracking the winter solstice (probably for planting crops) and creating calendars at least 17 that we know of.
At some point, they developed the belief that our sun is a god and that the Milky Way, called the “The Sacred Tree,” was a gateway to the afterlife. After learning from the Olmecs, they began keeping records of the stars’ patterns of movement and continued to do so for the next 200-320 years. The Mayans then developed their own calendar The Long Count ca. 355 B.C.
They were able to use their observations and mathematical prowess to calculate the future movements of stars across the sky.
The result was that the Mayans discovered the effect of the earth’s wobbling as it spins on its axis. This wobbling rotation causes the stars’ patterns of movement to drift gradually in the sky this is called “ a precession” in a 5,125 year cycle. The Mayans also discovered that once every cycle the dark band at the center of the Milky Way called the Galactic Equator intersects with the Elliptical the plane of the sun’s movement across the sky.
And consider this, that during that year, the sun reaches its solstice in a brief moment when the sun’s position in the sky is at its greatest angular distance on the other side of the equatorial plane from the observer on December 21 for our Northern Hemisphere and June 21 for the Southern Hemisphere. That year, the solstice occurs at the moment of the conjunction of the Galactic Equator with the Milky Way. Exactly the year this occurs in relation to our Gregorian calendar is A.D. 2012, this is very accurate calculations from the Mayans, and happened last on August 11, 3114 B.C. With Mayan mythology teaching, that our sun is a god and the Milky Way is the gateway to life and death, the Mayans concluded that this intersection in the past must have been the absolute moment of creation. Mayan hieroglyphs seem to indicate that they believed the next intersection in 2012 would be some sort of end or a new beginning of a cycle.
By studying only these facts you can easyly say that all the so-called “Mayan prophecies of 2012” are nothing more than wildly speculations, which are based on the yet uncertain interpretations by some scholars of Mayan hieroglyphs. The Mayans were not prophets; they were not even able to predict their own cultural extinction. But they were great great mathematicians and accomplished sky watchers, but they were also a brutally violent tribal people with a primitive understanding of natural phenomena, subscribing to archaic beliefs and the barbaric practices of blood letting and human sacrifice.
What is the Galactic alignment and the 2012 possible polar shift?
Basically the Mayans calender is built on what they call the dark plains but known to us today as the galactic alignment. This is what the dooms day scenario of dec. 21 2012 is based on and where it began. But it is true that Earth will pass through this plain around the time according to many scientists today. This galactic alignment is a direct path of the milky ways center black hole and its gravitational pull. Our galaxy passes through this plan from top to bottom or vs/vr. about every 26,000 thousand years in what is called cylical movement. For the last 26,000 years Earth has been above the galactic plan and are about to move to the lower section.So what effect will this have on Earth? well the Mayans claim it will mark the end of this life cycle and the beginning of a new one. None of the scientists are sure about exactly what will happen.
So lets use some simple mathematics to se, if wee can calculate these eledged events, and see if we maybe can come up with something more spectacular even?. I have done a small calculation chart for you to study. Draw your own conclusions!

The number 2,160 is the twelfth fraction of a precession cycle that takes 25,920 years.
If we divide 25,776 by twelve we get 2,148 years.
We now conclude that the bi-orbital timeline of P-X is 2,148 years, not 3,600 or 2,160 years.
Meaning 107.4 years } thus/and/or

The Lost Book of Nostradamus – The Apocalypse Video
I know the topic of Nostradamus and his predictions will stem arguments and debates, and I am not going to start one here. Just a few explanations about this book and the prophecy Nostradamus made for 2012.
With nothing more then pure luck? 
1994, Italian journalist Enza Massa was at the Italian National Library in Rome when she stumbled upon an unusual find. It was a manuscript dating to 1629, titled: Nostradamus Vatinicia Code. Michel de Notredame, the author’s name, was on the inside in indelible ink. This manuscript, never published by Nostradamus, was handed down to the prophet’s son and later donated by him to Pope Urban VIII. It did not surface again until now, almost four hundred years later. Tests were performed to verify the authenticity of the book. These tests showed that the paper used was probably used in the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries.
After examining the book experts also found that one image in the book, clearly point to the time, a period defined as starting in 1992 and ending in 2012. This drawing shows the wheel of time aligned with the sun and the earth between a horn Sagittarius and a scorpion Scorpio. There is also a swirling object between these two which probably symbolizes the great rift which is at the center of the Milky Way.
There are also three crescents shown which others believe are 3 eclipses that will happen on the year the galactic alignment. All these point to 2012, particularly, December 21, 2012, when the sun rises exactly at the center when viewed from Earth with an earth perspective.
